For generations, the fireplace has been where men gathered: to share stories, pass on wisdom, settle disputes and prepare the next generation for life. Around the fire, no one was alone with his questions.
The Ubuntu Fireplace brings that tradition into today's world. For over a decade, we have supported and accompanied men and boys through their transformational journey of masculinity, and walked with over 600 men from different walks of life.
Why "Ubuntu"?
Ubuntu is often summed up as "I am because we are". It reminds us that no man grows alone. A man's strength, character and purpose are shaped by the people around him, and in turn shape his family, his workplace and his community.
When men grow, the benefits extend beyond the individual.
What we do
We run long-term corporate formation programs such as the Elite Gentleman Program, small confidential cohorts, coaching and mentorship, Boys to Men programs, team building experiences, talks, books and podcasts. Every one of them is built on authentic conversation, accountability and growth.
